The Bath Priory has one room on the ground floor, which is a less able bodied access room (Foxglove room). For guests with a disability, this room will always be offered at our lowest available public rate at the time of booking.

Our car park is on a level and has a firm gravel surface. We have an allocated disabled parking space located next to the front door of the hotel and The Bath Priory offers porter assistance for assistance with luggage.
There is one step into the main reception area and wheelchair access is via a ramp at the front entrance of the hotel. Staff will be available to help you in any way.
Guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome throughout our hotel.
The reception at The Bath Priory is located on the ground floor and has clear level access. Throughout the whole of the ground floor the surfaces are polished stone floors, level wooden flooring and short pile carpets. Corridors throughout the ground floor are wide with the narrowest doorways being 870mm.
Reception is well lit with desk lamp and natural light. The desk custom designed and offers a lower level area for wheelchair users
The lounges in the hotel are located on the ground floor where the surfaces are a mix of level wooden flooring and short pile carpets. Our corridors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and we have staff trained in disability awareness. Assistance dogs are more than welcome within the lounges.
Both the Drawing Room and the Library feature a mixture of seating arrangements with low level coffee tables (500mm) and seating ranging from soft deep cushioned to straight back chairs and sofas.
The hotel has limited public toilet facilities which are not accessible for wheel chair users. As such guests booked in Foxglove room would use those facilities. Where possible, we reserve the Foxglove room should we have enquires for restaurant reservations when wheelchair access is required.
Our gardens and the garden terrace can be accessed via the pathway at the side of the hotel. There are a series of gravel pathways that go around the gardens with steps leading to higher ground, so access is not free as a result. Our Front lawn however is extensive and is boarded by a firm gravel surface. The lawn has a slight gradient down away from the hotel, although this remains accessible. The terrace is accessible via the aforementioned pathway.
Our restaurant is located on the ground floor and the surface is short pile carpet.
Full waiter service is provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary needs.
The menu is printed and can be verbally presented or provided in large print if required.
There is ample moveable seating and there are chairs without arms. The restaurant area is well-lit, with lots of natural daylight during daytime hours.
Access to the spa is via a set of steps from each entrance.
Foxglove is situated on the ground floor. The room is well lit with ceiling spot lights, table and floor lamps and natural light from the windows and French doors which lead out on to a private terrace.
The doorways are a minimum width of 800mm and a maximum of 840mm wide.
The bathroom comprises of a shower with a portable seat and grab rail, a toilet seat (420mm high) and washbasin (780mm high). The bathroom is also fitted with an emergency pull cord and benefits from natural light from the window.
In order to safely evacuate, we will need to conduct a personal emergency evacuation plan on arrival to understand your specific requirements. Should evacuation be necessary, our alarm will sound continuously.
